For most of my life, I didn’t really think much about gut health. I figured feeling bloated, tired, or uncomfortable after meals was just “normal,” especially after having a baby. I have always struggled with digestion and stomach issues, and postpartum hit me hard with sluggish digestion, low energy, and feeling puffy all the time. I kept trying to push through it, but nothing really changed until I decided to take gut health seriously.
I didn’t overhaul my entire life. I didn’t change my whole diet. I started with one simple thing: my greens.
And honestly, it surprised me how much of a difference one product could make.
Why I Tried It
I wanted something quick, easy, and gentle. No complicated routine. No major diet change. Just something that would help me feel better from the inside out while juggling newborn life. The greens checked all the boxes. They’re plant-based, full of vitamins and minerals, and actually taste good when mixed in water, combined with a fizz, or thrown into a smoothie. It was something I could stick to even on days when I felt overwhelmed or exhausted.
What Changed for Me
After the first two weeks, I noticed little improvements that added up fast: Less bloating, better digestion, more steady energy, clearer skin, feeling lighter and more comfortable in my body. It wasn’t dramatic or overnight. It was more like my body finally felt supported again instead of constantly struggling.
How I Use It Everyday
I keep it simple, but it is still something I look forward to everyday. I enjoy my greens around 2 or 3pm whrn I usually experience an afternoon slump.
I mix 16-20oz of water with one packet of Arbonne’s Greensynergy Elixir. I then add 1 Energy Fizz packet. Shake or mix with a straw and add a handful of ice. I drink mine in a cute cup or fancy glass to romanticize it a little more!
Why It Matters as a New Mom & a Woman
When you’re postpartum, your body is recovering, your hormones are shifting, and your digestion can get out of rhythm. I wanted to feel good again, not just function. The greens make it easy to take care of my health on the days when I don’t have much time for myself.
It’s one of those small daily habits that gives me a big return.
